Wright, William - Capt. 9/26/1861. Resigned, disability, 9/13/1862. Resignation accepted 10/13/1862.

Born in S.C. 12/31/1812. Widow, Mrs. Emma Wright, filed a CSA widower’s pension application in Fulton Co., Ga. in 1915. She stated she married Capt. William Wright on 10/4/1866 in Spalding Co., Ga. Application states he died 3/28/1889 in DeKalb Co., Ga. Buried at William Wright Family Cemetery, DeKalb Co., Ga. Obituary printed in Atlanta Consitution newspaper, page 17, 3/31/1889.
