Dix, James F. - ( James Frederick Dix ) Pvt. 10/1/1861. Wounded at Winchester, Va. 9/19/1864. Captured at Fort Steadman, Va. March 25, 1865. Released at Point Lookout, Md. June 26, 1865. (Born in Houston County, Ga. November 6, 1844. Died at Fitzgerald, Ga. October 28, 1910.)
