Mrs. Mary A. Landrum, consort of Jabez R. Landrum, died on the 19th of March 1891. She was born Oct 17th, 1837, was married Feb 10th, 1853, was left a widow by the death of her husband on the field of battle, July 30th, 1864, with five small children to care for. In early life she had united with the Baptist church at Antioch in the year 1852. She was quiet and unassuming in her manners, a tender loving indulgent mother, a good and kind neighbor and a true friend to everyone.
