Lumpkin, Joseph - (Joseph S. Lumpkin) Pvt. 10/1/1861. Absent without leave October 1, 1863. Admitted to General Hospital #9, Richmond, Va. On Sept 14, 1863 and furloughed home Sept 15th, 1863, for 30 days for pneumonia and great debility, residence listed at Waynesboro, Ga. Discharged Dec 24th, 1863 due to disability.
