Andrew J. Webb - (Andrew Jackson Webb) Pvt. 10/15/1861. Transferred to Co. F, 15th Regiment Ga. Inf. September 15, 1862; to Co. I, January 14, 1863. Surrendered at Appomattox, Va. 4/9/1865.

Buried at Antioch Baptist Church, Elbert Co., Ga., marker reads b. 7/29/1839, d 4/29/1917. Brother of George W. Webb of same company.

Mr Andrew J. Webb, 78 years old, and an old Confederate veteran, died Sunday night at the home of his son, Charley Webb, near Oblesby. He has been sick for several weeks. He is survived by the following children: G M and Charley Webb of Elbert County, Roy Webb of Toccoa, Mrs. Jack Tolbert of this county and Mrs. Allgood of Athens. The burial was at Antioch Church Monday afternoon.
