Daniel, Jesse F. - (Jesse Fletcher Daniel) Pvt. 9/26/1861. Appears last on roll Apr/1862.

He was born around November in 1838 in Stone, Dekalb, Ga. The 1860 census shows him still living at home in the Stones District, Fulton, GA when the Civil War started. One of his brothers, James E. Daniel was also in Company M. He was a year younger than Jesse. After the war, Jesse married Jane T. Morrow, on Feb 18th, 1868 in Campbell Co. Ga. She was from Henry County, GA. They settled in Douglas County, GA. Together they had 7 children, Elbert being the youngest born in 1889. Jesse died in October 13th, 1907, according to his widows CSA pension application. He is buried, beside his wife Jane, at the Prays Mill Baptist Church cemetery in the Bill Arp community of Douglas County, GA.
